Day 24: Something I've Learned
Well...something that I have learned is just to enjoy life. :)
Never take anybody you love for granted...they could be gone before you know it.
Put your faith in God, and he will help you to overcome any problems that you encounter.
It's better to appreciate all of the things that you have, instead of focusing on the things you don't have.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it.

Days 22 and 23.

22: Favorite City
Well...I guess my favorite city would have to be Albuquerque, New Mexico, where I was born. It's not my favorite city because I was born there. It's my favorite city because it is so pretty, and everybody there is sooo incredibly nice. Also, it is pretty diverse, which is really cool. The weather is a lot better than in Arkansas. It's not as humid. There's a lot of Spanish influence in the arcitecture of the buildings and houses, which I love. The mesas are really cool. Also, the mountains are absolutely beautiful. I might move there when I'm older. :) 

Day 23: Favorite Vacation
Naturally, my favorite vacation was to Albuquerque in 2008. :)

Day 19: Something You Miss...
I miss my Buddy dog.
I miss my little Clyde cat.
I miss Jeff. 
I miss being a little kid.
I miss the pool.
I miss being a swimmer.
I miss being tan.
I miss Flag Camp.
I miss having someone who really knows me and cares about me.
I miss watching television and eating cereal with my dad on summer days.

Yeah. Those are all the things I miss. But...just because I miss those things doesn't mean that I'm not happy. I am perfectly content with life right now. :)

Yeah...I'm behind.

I've been really distracted. And busy and stuff. So I've fallen really behind on my 30 day challenge. I guess I'll start back up today, with Day 18.

Something I regret:
Well...I had a dog that I pretty much grew up with. I loved that dog so much. But sometimes, I'd get mad at him for stupid things, or I'd neglect to give him the attention he deserved when I was busy. Now he's gone, and I regret those times when I didn't show him exactly how much I loved him.

Something I'm Looking Forward To

I'm looking forward to graduation.
I'm looking forward to going to UCA.
I can't wait to be in the UCA BMB.
I'm looking forward to turning 18.
I'm sooo excited to start my future. :)

Day 16

My Dream House....

is one that I could raise a family in. It would have a big backyard, with an in-ground pool. There would be at least 4 bedrooms: 3 for my kids, then a master bedroom for me and my husband. I would want a fireplace in the living room, then one in my bedroom. All the closets and bathrooms would be roomy. There would be a big window with an amazing view. The kitchen would be big, with lots of counterspace so I can cook and bake. The dining room would have a big pretty crystal chandelier. There would be a pretty garden and a walkway in the front of the house. It would be somewhere where it doesn't get really hot in the summers, and it snows in the winter.

But...most of all, my dream house would be not only a house, but a home where I could make many pleasant memories. :)

12 and 13

I was super busy last night...so I didn't have time to do day 12. So...here's 12 and 13.

Day 12: What I Believe
I'm a Christian, and I believe in God. I believe that Jesus is my savior, and he always will be. I believe that my religion is not the only acceptable religion. I believe in religious tolerance. I believe in Heaven. I believe that God is always the way. I believe that He has a plan for everyone. I love God. :)

Day 13: Goals
Well...I hope that I become successful. I plan on going to UCA in the fall of 2011. I'm going to go through their Pre-Dentistry program, while majoring in Chemistry and minoring in Music. After I finish my undergrad stuff, I really, really hope to get accepted to the University of Michigan to attend their School of Dentistry. I'll go there for at least 4 years, then I will graduate and become a beastly dentist, and own my own practice. Once I have experience, I want to go to underprivileged countries to provide dental care for people who don't have the resources that we have. :)

Oh...and I also hope to get married and have kids and be happy for the rest of my life and stuff. :)

So I haven't kept up with my 30 Day Challenge lately. Shame on me. Here are days 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11.

DAY 7: Favorite Movies

DAY 8: A Place I've Traveled To-

I went to Washington, D.C. the summer of my sophomore year.

DAY 10: Something I'm Afraid Of-

Well...quite frankly, I'm afraid of failure. I'm afraid that I won't end up successful. I'm afraid of messing things up...of disappointing people. I'm afraid of hurting people. I'm afraid of leaving the people I love in pain when I die. And of coyotes.

DAY 11: Favorite T.V. Shows-

I don't really watch T.V., but I love Make It or Break It. That is my favorite show ever. I also like a bunch of kid shows, too, because I'm just lame like that. :P

Day 6: Picture!

Well I'm supposed to post a picture of something that makes me happy. I have four pictures. What can I say? I'm an overachiever.

Band and Flag are pretty much my life.

I'm going to miss high school marching band. :(

Day 5: My Siblings

I've got one brother who is 11, and his name is Bowen. We don't get along very often, but when we do, he's pretty awesome. He's a good little brother, and I love him. I am very proud of him, and I believe he is going to grow up to become a really great person. I feel very lucky to have such a great kid as a brother. I have to admit...once I go off to college I might actually miss him. Just a little. :P

Day 4: Parents

Ohhhh boy. My parents...

Well...my mom is amazing. I love her. We may fight sometimes, but she really is a great mother. She would do anything to make sure her kids are happy. She puts everyone else before herself, and she is very hard working. She honestly deserves so much than what she has. She is a beautiful person, inside and out, and I feel very blessed to have her as my mother.

My dad is pretty cool, too. I love him. I miss when I was a little girl and we would sit on the couch watching Hey Arnold and Rugrats. We don't get much time to spend together, anymore.

Day 3: My First Love

Well this day is about my first love...which I don't know if I'm really comfortable talking about right now...for many reasons.

What I will say about him:

My first love, Jordan, is one of the most amazing people I have ever met. He is very handsome, and he has some of the most beautiful blue eyes ever (I love blue eyes). Honestly, at the time I met him, I wasn't even looking for a boyfriend or a relationship or anything like that. I met him at Flag Camp, where he was a drum major. This was the last place I would have expected to meet anyone I'd fall for. Oddly enough, we didn't even start talking at flag camp...it was afterwards that we started talking. Kinda weird how things play out, yeah? Well anyway, we started talking and then dating. Then...at my birthday party, while everyone else was inside, we slipped outside where he asked me to be his girlfriend. That was probably one of the most memorable nights ever.

We were together for a little over a year, and every day I fell a little bit harder for him. Unfortunately, things didn't quite go right, and some stuff happened, and we broke up. Now we're just really good friends. Although things didn't work out the way I was hoping they would, we did have a wonderful year together. I am so happy that God put this amazing guy in my life. He has taught me so much about life and love. And this is coming from someone who had convinced herself that she would never fall in love.

But anyway...that's enough of that.

Talking about this reminded me of something that I guess I'll share, though. On that night of my birthday party, when I was outside with Jordan and it was only us, we were standing in the dark and stuff, and then one of my friends, Samantha, bursts out of the back door, sees us, stops, then yells "HELLLOOOOOO CREATURES OF THE NIGHT!" then goes back inside. It was pretty funny. Haha. :P

Day 2: Meaning Behind Your Blog Name

Live.Dream.Hope.Laugh.Pray.Love

My blog name is just kind of a few standards that I live by.

• Live: I think it is important to live life as if there were no tomorrow.
• Dream: What is life without the ability to dream?
• Hope: Never give up hope. Even in a tough situation, it is important to continue to hope.
• Laugh: Life is more enjoyable when you're happy and able to laugh.
• Pray: God is the answer to everything. He does listen.
• Love: Love is one of the best things you can give to the people around you. There is always someone out there who needs somebody to love them.

I always try to live by these 6 standards. Lately, "laugh" has been the hardest for me, for several reasons. Regardless, I try to smile every once in a while.

So this is my first post. I figured I'd start with something that I stole from a friend. It gives me something to talk about for the next 30 days. Now I don't have to be creative for a whole month. :P

Day 1: Introduce, Recent Picture, 15 Interesting Facts

Soo...I'm Tessa. I'm a senior right now, although senior year isn't turning out to be that great. I'm in band and on the flag line. I absolutely love music. I'm going to go to UCA next year, where I will be in the Pre-Dentistry program.

This is one of the most recent pictures of me. Although it's not extremely recent.

15 Random Facts:

1. Sometimes when I'm bored, I get out one of my old coloring books and I color.

2. I absolutely love rain.

3. I like to be grammatically correct.

4. I want to be remembered for being a good person.

5. I am deathly afraid of coyotes. I'm not even exaggerating.
6. I used to have one of the most amazing dogs ever. His name was Buddy. I also used to have an amazing cat named Clyde. I miss them.
7. I have two cats whom I love very much. Their names are Bonnie and Angel.
